A Study on the Differential Problems Using Maple
نویسنده
چکیده
This paper uses the mathematical software Maple for the auxiliary tool to study the differential problems of two types of functions. We can obtain the closed forms of any order derivatives of these two types of functions mainly using binomial theorem and Leibniz differential rule. In addition, we provide two examples to do calculation practically. The research methods adopted in this study involved finding solutions through manual calculations and verifying these solutions by using Maple. This type of research method not only allows the discovery of calculation errors, but also helps modify the original directions of thinking from manual and Maple calculations. Therefore, Maple provides insights and guidance regarding problem-solving methods. Keywords—derivatives, closed forms, binomial theorem, Leibniz differential rule, Maple

Using Maple to Study Some Differential Problems
Abstract This paper takes the mathematical software Maple as the auxiliary tool to study the differential problems of four types of functions. We can obtain the infinite series forms of any order derivatives of these functions by using binomial theorem and differentiation term by term theorem, and hence greatly reduce the difficulty of calculating their higher order derivative values. On the ot...

متن کاملThe Solution of Weakly Nonlinear Oscillatory Problems with No Damping Using MAPLE
Weakly nonlinear oscillatory problems in engineering dynamics are frequently presented by nonlinear ordinary differential equations. Very few of such equations have exact solutions, thus the need for approximation techniques. In this study, the classical perturbation method, namely the Lindstedt-Poincare method (L-P method) is discussed. In most work, the L-P method is used to obtain uniformly ...
متن کاملRegular and Singular Boundary Problems in Maple
We describe a new Maple package for treating boundary problems for linear ordinary differential equations, allowing two-/multipoint as well as Stieltjes boundary conditions. For expressing differential operators, boundary conditions, and Green’s operators, we employ the algebra of integro-differential operators. The operations implemented for regular boundary problems include computing Green’s ...
متن کاملComposing and Factoring Generalized Green's Operators and Ordinary Boundary Problems
We consider solution operators of linear ordinary boundary problems with “too many” boundary conditions, which are not always solvable. These generalized Green’s operators are a certain kind of generalized inverses of differential operators. We answer the question when the product of two generalized Green’s operators is again a generalized Green’s operator for the product of the corresponding d...
